Treatments

The Treatments available are:

Reflexology

A relaxing and powerful therapy treating the whole body using various reflex points on the feet which relate to specific organs and systems in the body. A treatment lasts 50 minutes and can be adapted to incorporate Vertical Reflexology where the client is standing during part of the treatment thereby enabling certain reflexes to be stimulated whilst their body weight creates a better response.

Cost - £30 for 50 minutes.

Reiki

Originating from Japan this ancient hands on healing was introduced by Dr Mikao Usui and works holistically on an emotional, mental, physical and spiritual level.   A full treatment lasting approximately one hour consists of the client lying (or sitting) fully clothed on a couch with the practitioner placing their hands on or above the body over non-intrusive positions, allowing the Reiki (Universal Life force energy) to flow to where it is needed by the recipient.  This usually brings about a deep sense of relaxation and allows the recipient to start their own healing process.

Cost - £30 for 50 to 60 minutes.

Thermo Auricular Therapy

Ear candling dates back to ancient times and was often used by the Hopi indians for cleansing and purification.  The candles contain Beeswax, Honey, Sage, Chamomile, St. Johns Wort and Vitamin A.
All of these ingredients have been found to be anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and astringent thereby assisting in helping a number of ear, nose and throat problems.
During a treatment the candle is placed over the opening to the ear and lit so that the ingredients infuse into a vapour which is inhaled and this, together with the warming action of the candles, assists in loosening excess ear wax, regulating the pressure within the ear, stimulates the immune system and soothes irritated areas.  The treatment is completed with a face massage.

Cost - £25 for 45 minutes.

Indian Head Massage

This relaxing treatment starts with various massage techniques using oils on the neck, shoulders and back followed by a scalp and hair massage whilst the client is seated.  The facial massage incorporating accupressure points is then carried out with the client lying down on the couch.
There is no doubt that this is not only good for relaxing but also works at de-stressing the body and assisting in easing muscular aches and pains.

Cost - £25 for 45 minutes.
